Adventurous trips on the Helm at sunrise
There are magic moments when the first sunrays illumine the surrounding mountain peaks. In the early morning you take the panorama cable car and after a 2 hours walking tour you hardly wait around the romantic campfire for the streaming sunlight. Following you can enjoy breakfast in the typical “Stuben” on the Helmrestaurant. For friends of activity holidays the Berghotel Tirol in Sesto / Sexten offers special Active Weeks.

Guided hiking tour with Herbert: “Monte Piana – a historical point”
With our hiking bus we went to the Lago d’Antorno. From there the hiking tour starts to Monte Piana, one of the “hottest” places of World War I in the Dolomites. Also the view to the Tre Cime is wonderful. We went back by the Rinbianco Valley and back to the starting point!

Sesto: hiking paradise
Sesto is a real paradise for hiking. Situated in the heart of the Dolomites it offers easy valley hikes as well as alpine path and round tours. And the best: you can explore the lot of km of hiking tours directly from the Berghotel, without using your car! And furthermore: the Berghotel is member of the EuropaWanderhotels and so a guarantee for a perfect holiday in the mountains. As little tip for every wanderer we recommend the round with the 3 huts to the Three Peaks together with active weeks of the Berghotel which includes professional guided tours as well as an individual mountain consulting.
Let’s start the summer season 2010
On 05th June 2010 we reopen the Berghotel with a lot of energy and enthusiasm for the summer season.
The novelties of this summer are the guided mountain bike tours accompanied by real professionals, that round up our activity programme of guided hikes.
If you feel like enjoying the mountains, fresh air, pure water, far away from noise and stress, if you want to find rest and make sports, eat delicious food and enjoy life, we recommend you the Berghotel.
We would be delighted to hear from you, and to be allowed to lead you through our Dolomites this summer.

Happy Birthday – the Berghotel gets 40!
Incredible – the Berghotel is now 40 years old.
On the 18th May 1970 the Berghotel opened the first time. In the mean time has been changed a lot of things. From the rooms to the reception, from the restaurant to the Wellness area – nothing has been spared.
Here now some impressions from the past:
